In line with the rest of the department, the lecture on
Monday 12th October is
cancelled
to accommodate induction events. The first lecture will thus be on
Wednesday 14th October.

Exceptionally there will be two exercise classes next week. One replacing the lecture
on Wednesday 21st October, and the other at the normal time of Friday 23rd October.
The exercise sheets will be published soon. We look forward to seeing you at the first lecture tomorrow!

As decided yesterday, tomorrow's lecture (Friday 16.10.15) will exceptionanlly take place 0930--1100
instead of the originally planned time.

As voted on Wednesday, the lecture times have been refined to:
Mondays 12:00--13:30 and Wednesdays 12:15--13:45
(The exercise classes remain Fridays 11:00--12:30)

Please note that, due to Prof. Esparza's other commitments, it is necessary next week for the exercise class to replace the Wednesday (4 Nov) lecture. The displaced lecture will in turn replace the Friday class.

Two of the slides for fixed-length languages (slides 1 and 13)
have been changed (they belonged to a slightly older version of the lecture notes). The new set of slides can be found in the same place as the old one.
