The maximum capacity for this course is 60 enlisted students. As of 28/10/2020, the process of selecting course participants is finished. Selection of participants was handled via TUMonline. We did not pick any participants directly, as this appeared to be the fairest solution to us. If TUMonline does not explicitly show that you have been accepted (in German the status should be "Fixplatz", in English it should be "Confirmed place"), then you haven't been assigned to the course by the automatic selection procedure.
We understand that denying some students access to the course is a suboptimal solution. However, we had >200 applications, and
and we simply cannot handle that many students either within BBB, or later in the actual exam.
We have to see if we create a waiting list resp. some sort of procedure to identify early inactive participants, in order to then automatically pick candidates to fill up the vacant places. Of course, we will only pick among those candidates that are already registered.
So, please, if you aren't interested in taking the course anymore, deregister;
but if you are still interested, make sure that you have read the information below, in particular the part about the mandatory programming exercises.
